You don't need to go to Droknar's yet. Go play missions and do quests, after a while you'll have enough items to sell and money that you shouldn't be complaining.

Just go kill stuff & get drops. Salvage armor, ID colored items, and sell. I have like 7-8K on my level 16 at The Wilds from just selling to the merchant (I sell to other people on a different character). And I've only been doing missions & quests, no farming on that character at all.

I found something out. ID everything, well most everything if you are going to sell items. Unless it shows the price it's not ID'ed. I had non-colored items for example go from 17 gold to 48 gold sell price just by identifying them. Not everything will go up that much, you learn what does. I may be mistaken on this but it also seems I can salvage more from ID'ed items than not. It's easy to determine if it's ID'ed because the game won't let you ID an already ID'ed item. I am at the Wilds area too.

ADDED: To the OP: I clear most every zone I hit, you will be shocked how much cash and loot you can come away with, even with henchies. I have full stacks of every common crafting material and small stacks of more than a few rares. I have 5 silver and 3 black dyes and a few superior runes in storage. I sold a mess of weapon mods to the merchants because I rather whack stuff than sit in trade. I have around 20k in walk around money and if I liquidated everything I would double that. This at level 18 just doing the PvE game as it takes me. No runs. Money is easy in this game but getting a decent axe to drop, now that's hard, I get near "godly" staffs out the whazoo, haha. The only out of the ordinary thing I do is play the crafting material market.

The "ID colored items, and sell" i already knew. it's kind of a given, but still a good idea

Also why does everyone seem to be at the wilds? Lol

That's kind of hard to tell because I don't know the value of an un-ID'ed item but I will tell you this the higher the value of an item the more you can salvage from it, so it follows that an un-ID'ed item which shows a lesser value at a merchant might also give less salvage unless ID'ed. It seems since I started this regimen of ID'ing everything my packs are brimming over with crafting materials. Experiment. it's cheap.
